Initiated 25 years ago by the UICC (International Union Against Cancer), World Cancer Day, symbolized by the colors orange and blue, focuses on the importance of research, information and prevention. With its new campaign “United by the unique”, World Cancer Day focusses on a very special point: behind every cancer diagnosis lies a unique human destiny!
As with our “Back to Life” program, World Cancer Day promotes tailor-made care that takes individual differences into account, and ensures that everyone affected has access to the care they need to regain control of their lives.
