The Bonmont Ladies’ Section supporting Pink October

The commitment to health found a privileged outlet on October 7, 2025, during the “Pink Charity Day”. Brilliantly organized by the Ladies’ Section of the prestigious Golf & Country Club de Bonmont, this event once again proved that it’s possible to combine sporting passion with solidarity.

Over 60 Ladies and Golfers showed up, participating in a friendly tournament played in the Greensome format. Beyond the performances on the green, the day was marked by an atmosphere of sharing and a common will to support a vital cause.

This “Pink Charity Day” is now a flagship event that demonstrates the involvement of the golf community in health initiatives.

A quantified surge of generosity: CHF 12,000 for a return to active life

The generosity of the participants and partners made it possible to achieve an exceptional goal: the collection of CHF 12,000 for the benefit of the Genolier Foundation.

This amount is much more than just a sum of money; it represents a concrete opportunity for individuals with breast cancer to reclaim their lives after the illness.

Our mission: supporting the return to an active life

The mission of the Genolier Foundation is clear: to support people affected by breast cancer so that they can regain an active life, an objective summarized by the concept of “return to life.” The funds raised during events like the one at Bonmont are essential for financing the following programs:

  • Access to targeted treatments within Swiss Medical Network facilities.
  • Physical and psychological rehabilitation: funding for support therapies, coaching, and specialized rehabilitation programs.
  • Auxiliary aids: acquisition of specific equipment not covered by insurance.
  • Social reintegration: assistance in funding steps to rebuild professional and social autonomy.

Thanks to this event, more patients will be able to benefit from this essential support.

Thanks to the contributors to this charitable event

The success of this day rests on the commitment of numerous contributors, whom the Genolier Foundation wishes to thank warmly.

Our most sincere thanks go to:

  • The Golf & Country Club de Bonmont for its hospitality and the quality of its organization.
  • Madeleine Zeltner Burnier – Captain of the Ladies’ Section – as well as Julie Corréard, Club Manager, and Isabelle Schwank for the meticulous organization of this Charity Day.
  • The Ladies and Golfers for their enthusiastic participation and generosity.
  • The partners and sponsors who provided their invaluable support, notably Clinique de Genolier and Clinique NESCENS.

Their commitment and generosity are proof that unity, whether on a golf green or within a healthcare facility, makes it possible to overcome the challenges of illness.

Conclusion and invitation to ongoing support

The “Pink Charity Day” will remain a vibrant memory of solidarity and hope. The commitment and generosity shown by all participants allow us to continue our mission with conviction.

Every step on the green, every donation given, brings us closer to our goal: enabling individuals affected by breast cancer to regain the full measure of their capabilities and joy of living.

We invite the community to continue following and supporting the actions of the Genolier Foundation.
