Both breast and prostate cancer affect more than 6,000 people in Switzerland every year! Thanks to information, early detection programs and enormous medical progress, both can now be treated or stabilized if detected in time. However, daily life with such a diagnosis can be accompanied by multiple morbidity or chronic illnesses that severely affect patients’ autonomy and quality of life.
Founded in 1986 at the Clinique de Genolier, Genolier Foundation is committed to helping patients in need, affected by a serious, disabling or chronic disease, by giving them access to the best treatment, care and coaching available in Swiss Medical Network facilities. This support helps them not only to adjust to their new daily lives, but also to resume an active lifestyle.
From October 1 to November 30, Genolier Foundation is organizing a Charity-Raffle, where every ticket sold contributes directly and in full to the financing of supportive care and thus to the well-being of the people concerned:
- Physical activity to regain self-confidence
- Nutritional advice to ensure a balanced diet
- Psychological support to help cope with this new life situation
- Energy therapies, Sound therapy and yoga for relaxation
- Make-up and skincare workshops to feel good about yourself
Tickets are on sale at Clinique de Genolier and at the various “Pink October” and “Movember” events in which Genolier Foundation participates.
The raffle-draw will take place on Friday December 1, 2023 at the Clinique de Genolier Centre de Soins de Support, and the 100 winning numbers will be published here on the same day.
